A Cruffin is the genius brainchild of a croissant and a muffin. It is made with beautiful laminated layers of buttery dough, rolled and placed in a muffin mold. It is then proofed and baked until flaky and golden, and filled with anything your heart desires.

The way it bakes is what makes it special. The bottom part that is inside the tin stays moist and doughy, however not in an unbaked way but in a soft bun kind of way, while the top is airy and flaky like that of a croissant.

It first originated in Australia by the wonderful Lune Croissanterie in 2013, and then got made famous in San Fransisco by Mr. Holmes Bakehouse.

In December 2020, we at Flour Girl proudly became the first ones to bring it to the UAE and bless you all with that buttery, flaky deliciousness.
